নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি: সন্ধ্যে ৭ টার সময়ে ঘোষিত হল, ৯৫ তম অ্যাকাডেমি পুরস্কার। অবশেষে মর্যাদাপূর্ণ সোনালী ট্রফির জন্য সমস্ত প্রতিযোগীদের নাম উন্মোচন করা হয়েছে। এই বছরের অ্যাকাডেমি অ্যাওয়ার্ডে ভারতের একাধিক বিভাগে অংশীদারিত্ব রয়েছে, একটি নয়, চারটি ভারতীয় চলচ্চিত্র অস্কারে মনোনয়ন পেয়েছিল। যার মধ্যে ছিল, এসএস রাজামৌলির আরআরআর, গুজরাটি ছবি ছেলো শো (দ্য লাস্ট ফিল্ম শো), শৌনক সেনের ডকুমেন্টারি ফিচার অল দ্যাট ব্রেদস এবং নেটফ্লিক্স ডকুমেন্টারি শট দ্য এলিফ্যান্ট হুইস্পারার্স। এছাড়াও গাঙ্গুবাঈ কাথিয়াওয়াড়ি, কান্তারা, কাশ্মীর ফাইলস মনোনয়ন পেলেও শেষ মুহূর্তে ছিটকে গেল, RRR, ছেলো শো, গাঙ্গুবাঈ কাথিয়াওয়াড়ি, কান্তারা, কাশ্মীর ফাইলস। অন্যদিকে সেরা ডকুমেন্টারি ফিল্ম হিসেবে মনোনীত হল বঙ্গতনয় শৌনক সেনের তথ্যচিত্র ‘অল দ্যাট ব্রিদস’। এবং সেরা ডকুমেন্টারি শট হিসেবে নমিনেশন পেল, দ্য এলিফ্যান্ট হুইস্পারার্স। এবার অস্কার পুরস্কারের লড়াইয়ের জন্য প্রস্তুত। এর আগে কিংবদন্তি চলচ্চিত্র নির্মাতা সত্যজিৎ রায় সেরা ডকুমেন্টারি ছবির জন্যে সম্মানসূচক অস্কার পেয়েছিলেন। সত্যজিৎ রায়ের পর বাংলা থেকে অস্কারে নমিনেশন পেল শৌনক। রাজামৌলির RRR, একাধিক মনোনয়ন পাওয়ার আশা করেছিলেন। কিন্তু অবশেষে সেরা মৌলিক গানের বিভাগে মনোনীত হয়েছে ‘RRR’-এর “নাটু নাটু”। ট্র্যাকটি এই মাসের শুরুতে সেরা মৌলিক গান প্রথম গোল্ডেন গ্লোব জিতেছিল। এখনও পর্যন্ত অস্কারে সেরা আন্তর্জাতিক ফিচারের জন্য মনোনীত হয়েছে মাত্র তিনটি ভারতীয় চলচ্চিত্র। মাদার ইন্ডিয়া, সালাম বোম্বে এবং লাগান। তবে কেউই জয়ী হয়নি। ভারতীয় অস্কার বিজয়ীদের মধ্যে রয়েছে ভানু আথাইয়া (গান্ধীর জন্য সেরা পোশাক ডিজাইন), এ আর রহমাহ, গুলজার এবং রেসুল পুকুট্টি। অস্কারের মনোনয়ন ঘোষণা করলেন অভিনেতা রিজ আহমেদ এবং অ্যালিসন উইলিয়ামস।
